Welcome to HiBearNation XVI
November 11th – 14th, 2010
HiBearNation is a social and charitable event held for the past 15 years in St Louis to bring gay men together from all over the world for fellowship and fun. Money is raised every year for local and regional HIV/AIDS-related charities. Last year over $15,000 was donated to a selection of charities. This year’s official beneficiaries are Growing American Youth, Project Ark, and Bethany Place. Net proceeds from the weekend’s events will be dividing amongst the organizations and presented at the end of the year.
The 2010 host hotel for HiBearNation XVI is the Crowne Plaza in Downtown St. Louis. The Crowne Plaza has played host for the Show Me Bears and HiBearNation for several years. Special event pricing is available.
The unofficial meet and greet party begins on Thursday. Friday evening we offer a free dinner and drinks while guests mingle. Later that night is a bar crawl visiting several St Louis gay bars. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings feature frisky after hours parties, complete with food, drinks and plenty of men. Donuts, coffee and juice are provided on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. There is an optional dinner Saturday evening, just before the charity auction and an optional Sunday Brunch that you will not want to miss. Sunday evening is the much anticipated Furball dance followed by the final after hours party.
JJ’s Clubhouse & Bar will be sponsoring the 6th annual Blue Ribbon Bear Contest, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Registered guests receive bus service to scheduled events, and after hours parties with free food, drinks and more.
